Bird Cage
This week we got a bird cage that we plan to take apart for scrap metal. The plan was that we take it apart using the angle grinder which we all took turns learning how to use so we would have metal to practice welding with.

Welding!
Wrap Up: Week 9
This week we learned how to weld. We all got practice welding bolts together. We learned that an electrical charge is sent into the metal and when the cable spools and makes contact with the metal i creates a spark which becomes hot enough to fuse the two pieces of metal together creating a weld. We also took special precautions to cover our eyes because the light the welder produces could be damaging.

This week we're getting the parts we need to we can continue working on the car. We have terminals arriving so we can continue doing some wiring, we also have throttle cables coming in for both cars. We also need to finish working on the pedal so we can get the car running. We were still unable to use the welder so maybe we can get that done this week .1) Get the pedal and throttle cable done.
