Week 7

Goal: This week the main objective was to start working on the go-kart and we made big progress.We started to wire the batteries and The Pot-Box we also mounted a flag switch at the rear of the go-kart we also started working on a second pedal for the car.

Week 6

This week, the main goal is to work on the SK2. While the tires are getting done the main objective is getting the Motor and charge controller mounted. The wheels also have to be taken off so the tires can be worked on.                        


                       

1)We plan to mount the charge controller and the motor controller by drilling holes

 to mount the parts.

2)We also plan to get the tires inflated, we removed the tubes and took

 the tires off the rim.

Week 6

We got a lot done this week, we managed to get the wheels of so we could get those dealt with, we also drilled some holes to hold
             the charge controller and the motor controller.

Week 5

We managed to get all the cleaning done and we also took the tires off the SK2 to get them inflated. We learned how to sauter  and how to properly cut wires.

Week 5: Cleaning

This week we have a lot of cleaning to do, we took apart the wheels the previous week and all we have to do now is clean the individual parts. The hubs and calipers we really dirty and needed heavy duty cleaning. We used de-greaser, cotton swabs and rags to clean the parts individually.

Besides cleaning we didn't do much, we were able to clean all 
                            the dirty parts bagged them.

Week 4(End)

This week removed the wheels from the SK3, we also removed the breaks and let out the breaking fluid that was inside the breaks.



We also started to clean the some of the parts and eventually we will put the wheels back on.

Week 4

This week we plan on completely removing the wheels and the breaking mechanism.


Were also going to clean the parts so the car runs smoother.

Week 3 (End)

This week we plan on putting the SK3 together for Friday.

This week we plan on working on the SK2 as well as the SK3, the wheels need to be worked on and we also need part for the cars.
